The Faerder race starts just off the Aker brygge, seafront of oslo. One weekend every may each year the worlds biggest offshore fleet launches on their way to Horten. A spectacular sight from shore and great fun for the sailors. It is possible to rent boats with a skipper or if you are lucky join a boat with a free bunk.
